Refresher Training - Alternative Placements and Supervision Models

Cardiff University Occupational Therapy programme have devised a number of Educator Refresher Training topics. It is advised that existing educators complete refresher training at least once every three years as part of their continuing professional development.

COVID-19 Update & Alternative Placements

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on all aspects of life. Placements have been affected by the ongoing pandemic and universities, services, educators and students have been required to approach placements flexibly and creatively. This Educator Refresher Training session will explore any relevant updates in relation to COVID-19 and occupational therapy placements. Alternative placement models will also be discussed, providing advice and suggestions to areas where alternative placement models could be explored.
