About this event

Cardiff University Occupational Therapy programme have devised a number of Educator Refresher Training topics. It is advised that existing educators complete refresher training at least once every three years as part of their continuing professional development.

Supporting Students & Giving Constructive Feedback

An important role of the practice educator is supporting students throughout their placement. This can involve supporting reasonable adjustments, additional learning needs and/or supporting students who are struggling to meet the learning outcomes of the placement. The second part of this session explores giving constructive feedback, a vital part of the student learning experience which includes giving both positive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
