You've heard of treasure hunts, now join us on a news hunt!

Our fun and friendly refresher sessions help you to top up your skills - and maybe discover a few new tricks of the trade at the same time.

This session will look at what news actually is, and where to find it. So if you're struggling to find story ideas this 90-minute refresher is just for you! We'll look at different sources, how to find them and how to make contact with them - and maintain them as contacts moving forward.

As an added bonus, we will also spend some time looking at how we develop a story from an idea into something people want to read. How does an interesting post on Facebook become a WLD news story? We'll take you through the process, with some examples.
