Regency Square - architecture and history
13 Brunswick Square, Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, BN3 1EH

Regency Square is one of the oldest squares in Brighton and Hove. It was the first of the city’s large seafront squares and became a major landmark even before it was complete.
Gill Wales describes the history of Regency Square, from its difficult beginnings, through the ups and downs of its 200 year survival. Gill explains how Regency Square came to be built on that spot, at that time, and introduces some of the key characters and events that influenced life in the square.

● Thursday 19 September: 1400-1500
