It's Lockdown #3 and we need some relief. Fola Phillip will guide you through the singalong sessions with her blend of fun and larfs which are always central to having a good time.

About this Event

Reggae Choir Community Singalong is for friends and family of all ages.

REGISTRATION

One ticket per webcam. You will receive an email with the relevant links (including lyrics) on the morning of the session, and again fifteen minutes before the session. Please check your junk folder as often the email ends up here. If you haven't received your email before the session starts, please email info@reggaechoir.com

*Please note we will try our very best to get back to you as soon as possible, however sometimes this may take a little longer once the session starts.

LYRICS/AUDIO RECORDINGS

These will be uploaded to Facebook at the beginning of each week. It'll also be made available to you via a link in your email before the session. Onscreen lyrics are used alongside the audio recordings.

*The recordings are in 3 part harmonies: High (Soprano), Middle (Alto), Low (Tenor). However there is no pressure to learn these parts other than have a great time singing along with us.

EVERYONE EXCEPT FOLA IS MUTED

We are not technologically at the stage yet where we can sing together at the same time on Zoom. So latency is still an issue and for this reason all participants will remain muted part from the choir leader.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY SCREEN ON?

No you don't however, as we're all muted it's another way of communicating. It's always lovely to see how you're enjoying yourselves. The 'Chat' facility in Zoom will be made available for all to use.

HOW LONG IS THE SESSION

The session lasts approx 90mins. Time permitting we have a 'skanking' session where you will be able to request Reggae choons you'd like to have a boogie to.

HOW MUCH IS IT?

These sessions are DONATION ONLY. Whatever you can afford is helpful.

UNDER 18

These sessions are mixed with all ages. Anyone attending that is under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied on-screen by an adult at all times.

RECORDING and PHOTOS

Reggae Choir Community Singalong sessions will be recorded by the host. Recording of the session is not permitted by participants for copyright reasons. We use screenshots and video on our social media channels and website. If you do not wish for your image to be shared please keep your camera switched off.
