I look forward to welcoming you to the Academy Entrepreneurs Group meeting at IDEALondon on Tuesday, 4th March 2014 from 5pm-9pm with welcome drinks and canapes being served from 4.30pm.
Our speaker is Phil Lowe on 'Do boards matter? the good, the bad and the ugly of engaging a board'. Phil is a Chartered Director and founder of Boardroom Excellence, which seeks to promote effective operation of boards. He has extensive experience in various roles on Boards - Chairman, CEO, President, Non-Executive Director. Over the last 25 years he has bought, built and sold businesses in the newspaper, broadcast and technology sectors operating across many regions and languages as well as raising funding for and launching start-up companies in online recruitment, financial services, media and general corporate industries.
The event also includes a round table session discussing live issues and opportunities often known as "The Board You Could Never Afford" with the other business leaders in attendance. This session will provide you with great new ideas and an unbiased sounding board for personal and business accelerated growth.
We very much hope you will enjoy the experience and I look forward to seeing you then.
