Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills
This course runs for 4 weeks with one, two hour online session each week, you will also need to dedicate between 2-3 hours of self study per week.
Session Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm
Course Duration: A two hour session online Zoom session each week for four weeks
About this course
The UK's unemployment rate rose to 4.8% in the three months to September, up from 4.5%, as coronavirus continued to hit the jobs market.
Redundancies rose to a record high of 314,000 in the same period, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
Demand for jobs has increased across all sectors and candidates will need to stand out from the crowd!
Our Employability Skills course aims to increase your work-based and employability skills, enabling you to take initial steps into the work place, feel more confident about entering the workplace after a career break or make a successful career change!

When does the course run?
We have various start dates throughout the year. Most courses start each month, so there's always an opportunity ready for you.
Course Fee and Eligibility The course is government funded and you will be required to meet the following criteria to qualify for funding,
- Be over 19 years of age
- Have proof of residency in the UK for at least three years and live in the Greater London area.
- Be unemployed or on a career break
- Be in receipt of a benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance or Universal Credit
- Be employed/self-employed and earning up to £16k per year
Please note: you will be required to provide proof of eligibility before we are able to confirm your booking.
If you don't meet the eligibility criteria, you have the option to pay a discounted rate of just £250 for the course.
Please note: during this period whilst we deliver training via a virtual classroom, learners will require access to a WIFI connection and a laptop, tablet or mobile device.
