As many of you will be aware our network provides support to managers across Dorset and regular attendees say that it is an extremely useful way of keeping up to date and discussing key issues with others in a similar role to yourself. Based on your feedback we have planned an in–person meeting for you to come together with colleagues to gain support and information.
During our network meeting we are pleased to be joined once again by members of the Dorset Care Association team who will provide us with their regular update on the work they are leading to support ethical international recruitment (and the significant changes which have been recently announced), their trusted assessor service and their work in the coming months including their conference, Frontline Innovation in Care, scheduled to take place on 16th October in Dorchester – for a final opportunity to book tickets for this informative and lively event please see 2025 Conference - Dorset Care Association We are very much looking forward to the day and hope to see many of you there.
We will also hear an update from Mel Judd from the Partners in Care team, about key changes to the Data Security Protection Toolkit this year and support available to complete this, cyber security considerations and the new policy builder tool which is being launched to assist you and your teams.
Colleagues from Applied Research Collaboration( ARC) Wessex who are leading work on knowledge mobilisation, Jenny Roddis and Nicola Andrews, will be joining us to share more information about their work and progress so far. For more information on this please see, Knowledge Mobilisation | NIHR ARC Wessex
In the latter part of the meeting, we will be discussing key topics. This segment will provide an opportunity for confidential and open discussions among yourselves. We have allocated ample time for these discussions as well as for networking with each other.
We are very much looking forward to see some familiar and new faces at the network meeting and taking time together to share common issues.
There is plenty of free parking at the venue. Further information about the venue can be found here - Hamworthy Club | Sports and Recreation Venue Near Bournemouth Dorset
