Registering with HMRC & Self Assessment.

Please note this workshop is available to start-ups based in Swindon and Wiltshire only.

Want to register your new business? Never been self employed before? Trying to understand the world of HMRC and self assessment can seem daunting and confusing. During this workshop we will walk you through the basics of registering as self employed with the HMRC and the practicalities of completing your self assessment.

We will cover:

• Registering with HMRC and self assessment - how, when and why?
• The role of accountants and bookkeepers
• Your first self assessment tax return
• Bookkeeping systems and managing your expenses
• Question and answer session

Are you eligible to attend?

You must be based in Swindon or Wiltshire and fill in your full name and address details during the Eventbrite registration process. Our courses are open to pre-start and early-start businesses .

After registering for the course, you will be sent an enrolment from which you must complete before attending the workshop. If we do not receive it in good time it may mean that we are unable to send you the Zoom details to access the workshop.

The Zoom details for the workshop will be sent to you the evening before the workshop takes place, this email will be sent via Eventbrite to the email address you enter when registering for the event so please keep an eye out for it.
