Event description

Description

The ISIS Neutron and Muon Source at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory is hosting "Exploring Engineering", an event aimed at Key Stage 3 students in Year 8 or 9. The students will have the opportunity to visit the ISIS experimental hall and will learn about the incredible engineering that goes on at the facility through talks, demonstrations and a series of hands-on activities and workshops. It is rare that Key Stage 3 students can enter the experimental hall, so do make the most of this opportunity!

Schools can bring a maximum of 12 students.

As many of our events are oversubscribed, once registration of interest closes on 27 February 2019 places will be allocated to schools on a random basis. All schools will be notified on 28 February 2019.
