About Anuga:

Anuga will open its doors on the 7 October in Cologne, Germany and will have over 7,000 exhibitors from 109 countries. Anuga attracts around 160,000 decision makers from the retail market and has 10 trade shows focused on trending topics including fine food, organic and dairy.

Alongside the trade shows, Anuga offers an extensive supporting programme with lectures, special exhibitions, and attractive industry events along with the highest level of business and networking opportunities.

During the visit you can expect to receive a comprehensive insight into:

- The German grocery retail market including an overview of the top 10 food retailers
- Market requirements and export advice for Germany
- Taxes and duties
- Product packaging

Proposed programme:

Sunday 8 October
Market visit departure

Monday 9 October
AM - Market briefing/workshop - A comprehensive review of the German food and drink sector and doing business in the market
PM - Store visits followed by a group dinner with food and drink expert to review the day and to will host a Q&A for delegates. Cost to be covered by delegates

Tuesday 10 October
Visit to Anuga to explore the exhibition at your leisure, take advantage of the workshops and seminars on offer and conduct market research
Opportunity to participate in DIT Meet the Buyer/Expert event (Further details TBC)

Wednesday 11 October
Return to UK

Cost and grants:

A commitment fee of £150 + VAT is applicable for each organisation. Any extra delegates from the same organisation wishing to participate will be charged an additional £100 + VAT per delegate. Financial support of £250 is available for those companies in the Midlands Engine area who meet the required eligibility criteria as detailed on the application form.

Recommendations for flights and accommodation will be provided but this will be paid for by each delegate.
