Fondazione Bruno Kessler
Over 350 researchers, 220 between thesis-writing students, doctorate and post-doctorate students and visiting professors, 8 international Research Centres, 7 laboratories, including a Microtechnologies laboratory (MT-Lab), fully equipped for the design and series production of silicon devices, 11 between spin-offs and start-ups combined, an extensive network of local and international alliances and strategic partnerships, a library specialised in historical and philosophical-theological sciences, with over 250,000 books.
These are the numbers of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) which carries out research activities mainly in the fields of InformationTechnologies, Materials and Microsystems, Nuclear Physics, Mathematics, Italian-German Historical Studies, and Religious Sciences.
By means of an extensive network of alliances and partnerships, FBK also works in the fields of International Relations, European Economic Institutions, Conflicts resolution, Communication and Public Policies.
