About this event
Does your body feel like it’s always on edge — tight, wired, or stuck in stress mode?
This 4-week in-person course will gently introduce you to TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises®) — a powerful, body-based method to release stress and support your nervous system in a safe, natural way.
What is TRE®?
TRE® is a simple, accessible practice that helps the body release deep muscular patterns of tension and stress. Through a series of easy exercises, you’ll activate a natural shaking reflex (also called neurogenic tremors) — the body’s way of letting go, resetting and settling. This gentle somatic practice helps the nervous system to let go of stress and temsion and return to a grounded state.
This isn’t therapy. No talking is required. You’ll be guided gently through the process and leave with a tool you can use for life.

Frequently asked questions
TRE® stands for Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises®. It’s a series of simple physical movements designed to activate the body’s natural shaking mechanism, which helps release built-up stress, tension, and overwhelm held in the body. It’s safe, gentle, and can be practised at your own pace.
No. TRE® is a body-based practice — not a talking therapy. You won’t be asked to share your story, explain your feelings, or talk about anything unless you choose to. personal?
The shaking (also called "neurogenic tremors") can feel a bit unusual at first, but it’s completely natural. Some people feel a sense of release or relief, others feel sleepy or emotional — all responses are welcome. You’re in full control the whole time, and can stop or pause at any point.
Wear something comfortable that you can move in — like leggings or joggers and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. You might want to bring some water. You’ll mostly be lying down, so comfort is key.
TRE® was originally developed for people recovering from trauma and chronic stress. However, every nervous system is different, so we take things slowly and gently. A short health form is completed before joining to help make sure it’s a good fit. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact me beforehand
In many cases, yes — but it’s important to check. Everyone fills in a short health form before attending, and you’re welcome to reach out beforehand to talk through any concerns. TRE® is adaptable and can be practised in a way that suits your body.
Yes. The goal of this group is to teach you how to safely practise TRE® on your own. You’ll build confidence over the four weeks and leave with a tool you can continue to use whenever you need it.
