Presented by James W George

This seminar and workshop will concentrate on evidence-based protocols for training the temporomandibular and cervico-thoracic conditions. This programme will uncover the myths regarding TMJ problems and deliver a simplified approach that can be used in a small practice setting. Dr George will present the current research regarding cervico-thoracic and cervico-mandibular conditions, including recent data from collaborations with Professor Stuart McGill at the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Through his evidence-based presentation, the complexities of temporomandibular problems will be simplified, giving the practitioner a new confidence and strategy for helping these difficult patients. This course will give you easy-to-use guidelines for evaluating and treating neck, mid-back and TMJ-related patients. He has a reputation for delivering user-friendly strategies for integrating education and exercise into chiropractic practice. Most importantly, the information provided is based on relevant scientific evidence and blended with clinical experience.

James W George has extensive experience in diagnosis and rehabilitation of head, neck and spine related disorders. He is currently Instructor of Chiropractic Science at Logan University, College of Chiropractic, Adjunct faculty at Washington University School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Clinic Director at The Karel Lewit Clinic in St Louis, Missouri. He worked with Dr Clayton Skaggs co-ordinating three hospital-based clinics targeting musculoskeletal pain in pregnancy and was recently published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He has authored many journal articles and has lectured throughout America, Canada and Europe on rehabilitative medicine.
