The REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is a practical course designed to give individuals a basic knowledge and understanding of the causes of food poisoning, measures for prevention and the legal aspects of food hygiene in Scotland.

- Food Premises, Equipment and Utensils
- Food Poisoning, Cleaning and Disinfection
- Personal Hygiene,
- Food Hygiene Law
On completion of this course individuals may progress onto the
REHIS Intermediate in Food Hygiene Course.
There are no formal entry requirements.
This course is suitable for any food handler working in restaurants, hotels, bars, nurseries, residential homes and also those involved in day care.

Course Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be sent in writing by email to: email@example.com
Late cancellations received between 1 day and 14 days (inclusive)prior to the course start date will have no refund given.
Failure to attend the course on the day will be treated as a late cancellation and no refund will be given.
STEP reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient bookings have been received. Delegates will be offered an alternative dates or a full refund of the course fee.
