Become A Certified Level I Reiki Practitioner
The practice of Reiki is simple but incredibly powerful. The wonderful thing about this healing modality is that it can be learned by anyone. It is believed that the healing power of Reiki chooses you. So, if you are feeling curious about learning how to use it yourself, then it is the Reiki calling you.
To receive the Reiki's healing power, you must be attuned. An attunement is also known as an "initiation" or "Reiju" which is Japanese for spiritual blessing. The attunements are given by the Reiki Master. They connect you to the Reiki energy so you're able to channel its healing power. This process is completely unique to Reiki. The attunement or Reiju is one of the most important aspects of learning to become a Reiki practitioner. Once attuned, you will be able to practice Reiki on yourself and others for the rest of your life.
During your Level I training, you will gain introductory knowledge of the theory and practices of Reiki. This will be knowledge on how to self-heal using Reiki and how to treat others. This training gives you the foundation in being able to develop a daily self-Reiki practice and offer Reiki healing to friends and family. Finally, you'll continue to receive the lasting benefits Reiki has to offer.
The Reiki Level I training is taught by Katie from KatieHart.JustBreathe. She is a 10th-generation Usui Reiki Master.
Katie is a proud member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies. She is a student member of UKCP and is training to be an Integrative Transpersonal Therapist. The day will be split 50/50. You will experience a practical hands-on approach and philosophy lectures.
After your level 1 training, you will be able to practice on yourself, friends and family. You can do this as part of an energy exchange, but you cannot charge a fee. Once you've completed your level 2 training, you will become qualified to work with others.
No. These trainings have a maximum of 4-5 people, so you'll receive personal support throughout your training.
You'll continue to receive personalised support once your training is complete.
The Practice Rooms are located in Reading Town Centre. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk from Reading station. Its location is also on regular bus routes. You can park nearby in the Broadstreet Mall Car Park, the Holy Brook Car Park or the Oracle Car Park.
