Where is the course being held?

On day one, the course will be at Murdoch House, 7 Cross St, Redruth TR15 2BU. On day two, we will be at The Cornish Therapy Centre in Redruth, Forthnoweth, Redruth. TR151AU

What refreshments are provided?

Teas and coffees will be provided throughout the day. Participants are requested to bring their own lunch.

Is there parking at the centre?

Accepted Answer

On day one, there is no parking available at Murdoch House. However, the Fairmeadow Car Park TR152BT in Redruth is just one-two minutes walk away. The cost of parking for the full day on Saturday 5th of July is £3.50. On Sunday, the car park is free.

How much is the course

The two day course costs £160 per person. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your place, and the remaining £110 is payable two weeks before the course date upon receipt of an invoice.

Do I need to have experienced a Reiki healing treatment before attending the course?

Accepted Answer

Ideally, before attending the course you will have had the experience of receiving at least one Reiki treatment. This is to give you an idea of what a treatment is like and what it consists of. These Reiki treatments can be booked directly with Helen and cost £59 for a 90 minute treatment.

Will I be qualified to charge for Reiki treatments after completing the course?

No. A level 2 Reiki Practitioner course is required before you are qualified to offer Reiki treatments professionally.  Level one training is for your own healing and personal development as well as giving you the ability to share Reiki treatments with friends and family.

How are students assessed?

Students will be assessed continuously throughout the two day course, and will be required to fully participate in all learning and practical exercises.

Is the course suitable for me?

The course is suitable for you if you are generally in good health, would like to deepen your own healing and personal development.

Are there situations where Reiki should not be used?

Accepted Answer

Reiki is a very safe and non-intrusive healing, however as a form of energy healing  it should be used with caution: 1. With those who experiencing addiction to drugs/alcohol or sever mental health disorders 2. For people taking certain medications. 3.Pregnant women. 4. Someone with a pacemaker etc

What are the benefits of receiving Reiki?

A Reiki treatment may do the following:

• bring about a peaceful, deep state of relaxation

• dissolve energy blockages and tension

• detoxify the body

• stimulate the body’s immune system and natural healing mechanisms

• help to relieve pain

• stimulate tissue and bone healing after injury

Question 12

What happens if I pay for the course but am unable to attend?

All attendees are required to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit which secures your place. If you pay the remaining course fee of £110 and are unable to attend the training, if you give a minimum of 72 hours notice from the start date/time you will be able to transfer to a future training.

Is the course residential?

No. The course is non-residential.

Can I get to the course venues on public transport?

Yes. The nearest train station/bus stop is at Redruth train station.
