Reiko Kaneko designs fine bone china in elegant, functional shapes – from beautifully thin and light glassware and terracotta to pure white china, dipped in rich glazes to produce unique studio pieces. Plinth is exhibiting new work for sale at 10a Thurloe Place. Ticket price is deposit only.
To coincide with the V&A Late Opening during London Design Week on Friday 23rd September, Reiko Kaneko will hold a meadow-inspired ceramic-decorating workshop where participants can decorate their chosen object (plate, mug, teapot etc.). In advance of the workshop, Reiko will have scanned pressed flowers so that participants can cut out the delicate shapes and apply them in sepia.
Tickets cost £5 to reserve, and will be refunded after the event for all attendees. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled event time will not be refunded. Payment for the object produced will be taken at the end of the workshop; prices range from £12 to £32.
