Reimagining Health and Social Care

Across the health and social care system, the case has long been made for a need for radical change to cope with a set of challenges; ongoing shrinking budgets, a bureaucratic disconnected system attempting to cope with growing needs and expectations.
How can we promote system change, innovation and improvement in response to ongoing trends that are impacting health and social care - including digital innovation, new ways of working and changing relationships in and with communities and places?
The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated and amplified these trends, and reinforces the case for change – what are we learning from the crisis, and how can this inform our thinking about reform as we transition from recovery to a new future?
What are the alliances, practices, tools and behaviours that will best support a united health and care system in the move towards long term change? Can we create a model of public service that is agile and resilient, able to cope with crisis - and meet the needs and expectations of today’s citizens?
With Professor Donna Hall CBE, Clenton Farquharson MBE, Think Local Act Personal and Matthew Swindells, digital and healthcare adviser.
