SYNOPSIS

Private markets, particularly private debt, are expanding rapidly but remain characterised by limited transparency, illiquidity, and bespoke deal structures. This session explores how technology is enabling greater efficiency, insight, and scalability across these markets. We will compare the structures and strategies of private equity and private debt funds, highlighting their differing risk-return profiles.

The session will then examine how tools such as automation, AI, and advanced data analytics are streamlining operations, enhancing reporting, and supporting investment decisions in these asset classes.

Finally, the presentation will address key challenges, including data complexity, integration hurdles, and the need for scalable and secure digital infrastructure as private markets continue to grow.
