Organisations are increasingly frustrated by hierarchical forms of management that concentrate decision making in the hands of a few people. Outdated approaches to management stifle staff-led innovation, create barriers to front-line decision-making and lead to many people feeling disengaged and powerless to make a full contribution. In this workshop, Dave Corbet from Greengage will share experiences from organisations around the world that are reinventing the way people are managed and achieving more as a result. Dave will share practical tips on how you can implement a new way of managing that enables and empowers people whilst retaining the accountability essential to success.

Dave Corbet is a director of Greengage Consulting Ltd. Following a degree at Cambridge and training as a chartered engineer he had a successful career in the energy industry working alongside one of Britain’s top entrepreneurs and innovators, Tony Marmont. Dave founded Greengage in 1996 to pursue his passion for personal and organisational development. Dave is an expert trainer, facilitator and coach and has a proven ability to help his clients to develop clear strategies and gain insights that lead into new levels of performance. Dave’s book, titled From Know-how to Do-how; A short and simple guide to change, is published by Nicholas Brealey Publishers.
