Homelessness. Loneliness. Extinction. Austerity. Beneath each is a deeper ache: the collapse of relation.
We no longer sit at benches in public squares. Families eat from trays, not tables. Rivers are crossed but not noticed. “Efficiency” has become the excuse for thinning out what is most sacred - our between.
In this workshop:
- The Story - The Withering Between: A mythic parable of a girl who discovers the fences, screens, and silences of a world where connection has been mined away.
- The Essay - The Erosion of Relational Life: A systemic exploration of how transactional living, digital-by-default services, and extractive economics hollow out the sacred space of relation.
- The Study Guide - Restoring the Between: Practices for reweaving connection through mapping relationships, tending rituals, and acts of quiet presence.
Each session combines storytelling, essay, and small-group dialogue with reflective practices you can bring into your daily life.
This is not about nostalgia. It is about remembering that the world is not made of things; it is made of relationships.
