About this Event
Aim
The aim of this course is to develop the confidence and practical skills of participants to deliver great quality, timely RSE for pupils with SEND
Learning outcomes
By the end of the training participants will have:
• had an update of the DfE guidance about relationships education, health education and relationships and sex education
• explored how to create a safe space and facilitate discussions about relationships and sex with young people with SEND
• identified how to use recommended visual RSE resources with young SEND people
• discussed how to deal with sexualised behaviour in the classroom
• practiced responding to tricky questions in the classroom
