Q: I'm new to art. Will the class be advanced?

Accepted Answer

A: This will be RIGHT level for you!  It's a great stepping stone for new students getting stepping onto the ladder of art for the first time. Also benefits advanced artists by using their creative flare to deepen the drawing. A fully tutor-led guided session.

Question 2

Q: If I'm late or miss the class is it recorded for a later replay?

Accepted Answer

A: Unfortunately not. The class is about staying the present flow of the current moment to see how the energy around you influences your mind and art at that moment.  Watching a replay means you wouldn't be in the current time with the rest of the group.

Q: What materials do I need?

Accepted Answer

A: You can use watercolour paper with watercolours or pencils, or simply printer paper and coloured pencils. A black permanent ink pen is also needed.

Question 4

Q: What if I’ve never meditated before?

Accepted Answer

A: No problem. The meditation in this class comes naturally through the creative flow of drawing and writing. You won’t be expected to sit in silence as the activities themselves create a calming, mindful state.

Q: What happens if I join late?

Accepted Answer

A: To keep the group energy focused, the Zoom room will be locked 5 minutes after we begin. Please aim to arrive a little early to settle in.

Q: Can I share my artwork with others?

Accepted Answer

A: Absolutely! Many students find joy in showing their finished pieces at the end of class, but it’s completely optional.

Question 7

Q: Is there anything I should know re: Refunds?

Accepted Answer

A: Anne-Marie provides specific instructions at the start of the class, so please try to be early or at best, on time, as the door will be locked 5 minutes after starting. There are no refunds if you're unable to make it, or late.
