About this event

  • 1 hour

A gong bath, is a therapeutic and meditative experience that involves the use of gongs and other sound instruments to create soothing and immersive soundscapes. During a gong bath session, participants typically lie down comfortably on yoga mats in a relaxing environment.

Various gongs, singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments with different tones, frequencies, and vibrations are played. As the gong bath progresses, the sound vibrations produced by these instruments surround and envelop the participants, creating a deeply immersive and meditative experience.

The term "gong bath" is derived from the idea that participants are "bathed" in sound, as the waves of sound wash over them. The practice is induces a state of deep relaxation, reduce stress, and promote healing and well-being.

Participants may have different experiences during a gong bath, ranging from feelings of calm and tranquility to profound spiritual or introspective insights. Many people find them to be a powerful and unique way to relax, unwind, and explore inner states of consciousness.

What to bring to the Event

Yoga mats and blankets are provided however please bring extra to make yourself comfortable and warm.

Yoga mat or cushion: Most gong baths take place on the floor, so bring a yoga mat or a comfortable cushion to lie on. This will provide padding and support for your body during the session.

Blanket : Lying still for an extended period can cause your body temperature to drop. Bringing a blanket will help keep you warm and cozy throughout the session.

Comfortable clothing: Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing that allows you to lie down and move without restrictions. Layers are a good idea, so you can adjust your clothing according to your body temperature.

Water bottle: Hydration is essential, so bring a water bottle to stay refreshed before and after the session.

Eye mask : Some people prefer to cover their eyes during the gong bath to enhance relaxation and reduce visual distractions. An eye mask or a scarf can help with this.

Pillow for head support or knees(optional): If you find it more comfortable to have extra support for your head or neck, you can bring a small pillow or cushion.

Personal items: Bring any personal items you might need, such as tissues, essential oils for aromatherapy, or any crystals or objects that hold special meaning for you.
