Remain Labour and Manchester for Europe Rally
Event Information
Description
Remain Labour and Manchester for Europe are holding a joint rally in Manchester this Saturday, 26th January. We hope that you will able to join us for an afternoon of inspiring speeches and concrete ideas for how activists and campaigners can help secure a People’s Vote for our country.
1:30-2pm Rally in St. Peter’s Square (please note, St Peter's Square is next to Manchester Central Library, a short walk from the Mechanics Institute, shown on the map) - St. Peter’s Square, Manchester M2 5PD
You do not need a ticket for St. Peter's Sqaure. You will need a ticket for speeches at Mechanics Institute.
2:30-4pm Rally in Mechanics Institute - 103 Princess Street, Manchester M1 6DD
We will start in St. Peter’s Square at 1:30 for speeches and music. We will then make our way to the near-by Mechanics Institute for speeches starting at 2:30.
We have a slate of fantastic, cross-party leaders speaking out in favour of a People’s Vote and Remaining in the European Union and discussing how grassroots activists can get involved in their local communities and near-by constituencies to push Parliament to hold a People’s Vote. We will all get a chance to meet and mingle with leaders and activists while learning about Remain Labour, Manchester for Europe and the next stops in our campaign.
