Does the cemetery have toilet facilities?

Yes! After a ten year battle with the local authority, Hampstead Cemetery now has a public, accessible toilet near the cemetery's main gate on Fortune Green Road.

Will the tour go ahead if it's raining?

Yes. Unless there is an unforeseen weather warning, the tour will go ahead even if it rains. Bring your brollies, just in case.

Is this tour recognised by the Friends of Hampstead Cemetery?

Yes, it is. I'm delighted to lead this tour alongside the Friends.

The cemetery is a 15-min (or so) walk from West Hampstead Overground (the Mildmay line),and a short bus ride from Golders Green Tube Station (Edgware branch of the Northern Line), West Hampstead Thameslink and the Jubilee Line. Buses are 13, 46, 603, N5 and the 268.

Greetings! Join me, Sam Perrin (aka Tempus Fugit History) for a guided wander through north London's beautiful Hampstead Cemetery.

'Tis the season for the rememberance of the dead with observation days such as All Hallows Eve, All Saints Day, All Souls Day and Dia Del La Muertos all falling end October / beginning November - the perfect time for an autumnal amble as we remember those who've come before us in this outdoor shrine to love and loss.
