During the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina ordinary people undertook extraordinary acts of courage. Join us for a special event to celebrate these unsung heroes. Their stories help inspire and encourage us to stand up for each other in our workplaces and in our communities.

Lejla Damon - Born out of war time rape 23 years ago will share her experience of being rescued and adopted by British journalists
Maz Saleem - Following her father's racist murder 5 years ago in Birmingham will share her experience of resisting hatred and promoting unity despite her grief
Waqar Azmi OBE - Chair of Remembering Srebrenica
Amra Dautovic - Genocide survivor and Psychologist will share her experience of becoming a child refugee as a result of the war, and how she now helps others address trauma and mental health issues
