Remembering the Fallen

Kilmarnocks War Memorial was opened on May 21st 1927. Today it displays the names of 1016 people who made the ultimate sacrifice.

To mark the centenary of its opening members of Kilmarnock History Club have been researching the names of the fallen. They have found details of all but 40 of the names and are sharing their findings, collecting stories and photographing memorabilia as a community project.
