Description

Please join us as we mark UNESCO’s International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition on Wednesday 22 August.

This special event will remember the millions who suffered due to the Transatlantic slave trade and mark the passing of the Abolition acts. We will also acknowledge its impact on generations of African and Caribbean communities across the world.

At the event, you'll be able to enjoy many amazing creative performances from artists of African and Caribbean heritage. And look out for inspiring keynote speakers, being announced soon.
