Join North Bermondsey Royal British Legion as we commemorate 80 years since VJ Day and 85 years since the Battle of Britain with a community event full of music, remembrance, and celebration.

This is a family-friendly event for all ages – a chance for the local community to come together, honour our shared history, and enjoy a vibrant summer event.

Don’t miss the The Parade of Standard Bearers and our trip through memory lane to the music of that decade.

10:30am – Parade of Standard Bearers11:00am – The Satin Dollz, a glamorous 1940s-inspired vocal trio

Enjoy arts & crafts, a raffle, street food, market stalls, and plenty of community spirit

Are there any toilets?

Yes. Accessible public toilet is located within the Blue Anchor Library at the rear of the square. There are also cafes in the market with toilets.

Is there free parking available?

Yes. 2 hours free parking is allowed in the car park next to the market and free on-street parking is also available in South Bermondsey (avoid north of the railway where CPZ apply)

Will there be any seating?

There will tables and benches and other seating spaces in the square
