Professor Dominic Murphy (King's College London), current President of the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS), will be delivering a lecture at the University of Bath on the pressing challenges and future directions in military health research.

Drawing on his extensive work in veterans’ mental health, including PTSD, moral injury, and co-occurring health conditions, Professor Murphy will explore the key issues facing military and veteran populations and highlight innovative approaches to treatment and care. His talk will also outline priority areas for future research aimed at advancing evidence-based strategies to improve long-term health and wellbeing for those who have served.

Professor Marcus Munafò (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Bath) will introduce the lecture, which is being hosted by the University of Bath Military Matters Network.
