Remote Student Internship: Join our Eco-Startup Bootcamp

• Remote Student Internship START DATE: TUESDAY 2ND AUGUST

• For students in full-time education only. Your college or university will be expected to provide the funding for your internship.

• Universities give their student/s real-world exposure to the cutting edge of sustainability innovation and regenerative society design.

• University officials are welcome to attend: are you in a position responsible for finding new internship opportunities for your students? Are you looking for additional, flexible, affordable, end-of-summer opportunities to enhance the student experience? You are most welcome to attend and ask questions to find out why this offering is unique.

• Availability: Places for 10 students only.

• For Students: No experience in sustainability, business or entrepreneurship is necessary! If you are curious you are welcome!

• We help you to ideate and create an eco-startup business idea that starts with YOU as a unique individual.

• The entire internship is virtual and can be completed remotely anywhere in the world.

• Flexible hours - with a focus on results, not time.

• Minimum of 6 x 1.5hour (9 hours in total) facilitated workshops once weekly that guide students through the ideation, creation and experimentation process for eco-startup innovation.

• Students can choose to work solo or in teams.

• Each student/team will get at least one intensive 1-1 support session.

• Students get a certificate of completion that certifies real-world experience in environmental sustainability startup entrepreneurship and regenerative economics.

• Students get an internship reference that proves they have the initiative and confidence to take imperfect action in a highly uncertain and innovative environment.

Outline and Timing of the Event

1. Introduction to the Solve Earth community, mission, vision and methodologies. HOW we can ensure society achieves sustainability and regeneration using the power of entrepreneurship, technology and new business forms. 30 minutes
2. Find out how to JOIN the Virtual Student Internship Eco-Startup Bootcamp which starts on Tuesday August 2nd. 15 minutes
3. Q&A Session. 15 minutes
4. Social Afterparty + optional games. 30 minutes

Why Solve Earth Was Created

The natural world and natural resources are being damaged or consumed at such a rate that society has a limited runway left to avert collapse.

Therefore, there is a need for new businesses that use the awesome scale and power of technology to protect and regenerate the natural world at exponential pace, in order to secure a truly sustainable human society that will thrive for millennia.

Our startups have true sustainability (Regeneration) baked into their DNA by using a unique multi-stakeholder legal foundation called the FairShares Commons, progressive governance systems and team communications, and advanced developmental programmes for individuals.
