Event description

Description

The Scottish Business Pledge is a values-led partnership between the Scottish Government and business. Launched in May 2015 it reflects a shared ambition to boost productivity, competitiveness, sustainable employment, and workforce engagement and development. More detail is at https://scottishbusinesspledge.scot/

In March 2018, Scottish Ministers announced a short review of the Business Pledge focused on securing greater business buy-in and impact. Over the summer the Scottish Government will work with current Pledge companies, the main business organisations and the wider business community to explore barriers to making a commitment to the Business Pledge and ways the initiative might evolve.

To assist with that review, BITC Scotland is hosting a workshop for businesses and Keith Brown MSP, Cabinet Secretary for the Economy, Jobs and Fair Work. It is scheduled for 8am on 17th May 2018 in Edinburgh. Spaces are limited so please register your interest on Eventbrite as soon as possible and no later than 25 April 2018. We will then confirm registrations by 30 April with an opportunity for those unable to attend to provide constructive feedback in advance of the workshop.
