Renewing Vision, Renewing Ministry Residential - POSTPONED due to pandemic

COURSE AIM
To assist clergy in their 50s, who are approaching their next phase of Stipendiary ministry to assess their skills, experience and strengths, in order to set renewed vision for their ministry.

CONTEXT
The Residential builds on the considerable body of empirical research carried out over the past 8 years on well-being and resilience in ministry. This shows that clergy who are actively and dynamically involved in their own learning, development and well-being are able to sustain ministry well in flexible ways in a changing context.

METHODOLOGY
Participants on the course work within an overall philosophy of active learning, in the context of prayer and theological reflection, with individual work and small group input and discussion.

There will be a modest amount of preparatory work to assist participants in getting the most out of the Residential, along with the possibility of follow up for those who would like to pursue themes from the residential.

This residential is led by Training and Development staff from the London and Chelmsford Dioceses with 3-D Coaching.

There will be a follow-up date in November 2021 (date TBC) which takes place at London Diocesan House.
