Event description
An opportunity for members to discuss how opening in the Autumn term has gone and what the next semester might bring.

About this Event

The event will be led by staff from the University of Manchester Library who will share their experiences of opening up their services again.

They will provide the following:

o a brief overview of the University of Manchester Library's physical services

o the approach to planning reopening at Manchester

o key lessons learnt leading up to and during Semester 1

o plans for Semester 2 and beyond

There will then be opportunities for other institutions to provide an overview of their experiences, plus discussions around topics of interest from attendees .

An online form will be sent around before the event so attendees can prioritise the topics they want to discuss. Topics could include:

  • access to stock and purchasing new stock
  • use of study spaces
  • enquiries we can’t fulfil
  • student behaviour
  • delivering hybrid/blended services or any other topic of interest to attendees.

If you are interested in contributing to the event, please contact Nicky Freeman - n.freeman100@salford.ac.uk.
