Welcome to the Repair Cafe at The Hub! Join us on Sat 13th Sept 2025 from 10:30 AM in The Hub, The Glades, Bromley for a fun and eco-friendly event. Bring your broken items and our skilled and experienced volunteers will help you fix them for free or a small donation if you would like to support our work!
Whether it's a wonky toaster, a wobbly chair or a moth holed jumper, we've got you covered. Let's reduce waste and learn new skills together. See you there!
Our volunteers will look at small eletronics, if parts are needed, they will let you know where to order your part and when you can come back to have it fitted.
If you have small furniture that needs repair, visit us to see what can be done, it may be a repair to exactly how it was or an upcycle to update your piece.
Do you have a treasured piece of clothing that has a stain or a hole and you are not sure what to do. Our experienced team can help you.
** All repairs are at the discretion of our experts and their decision is final. All repairs will also require you to sign a waiver.
On arrival you will join the waitlist for repair. if there is a queue for the service you require, you will be given a ticket and we will take your phone number. You can wander off to do other things in the Glades and we will call you when we are ready for you. We do not take repairs after 1:30pm to give repairers time to fix.
Tea, coffee & sometimes cake will be available for a suggested donation to cover our costs and also provide some colouring or crafts to keep the kids occupied.
The Hub is located upstairs in The Glades next to HMV and Waterstones.
