Join this FREE event promoting repair and reuse in the community
*Entry is free, but please book a ticket. It’s first come, first served and we cannot guarantee that everyone will be seen, so please arrive early.*
Come join us for a fun day of fixing! Bring your broken items and our skilled volunteers will help you repair them for free. Everything from a faulty alarm clock to a squeaky bike. Let’s reduce waste together and learn new skills in the process. See you there!
- Textile repairs with TRAID - Learn how to sew and repair your own clothes in a friendly workshop setting.
- Electrical repairs with the Restart Project - Repairers will help you troubleshoot and fix small electronic appliances. You are responsible for your device and any data stored on it. Please only bring one item per person.
- Bike repairs with Peddle My Wheels - Cycle instructor mechanics will check your bike — wheels, brakes, gears, racks, pedals and saddles. Minor adjustments will be fixed on the day; for major repairs, you’ll get advice on what to do next.
- Bike market - Browse fully serviced, affordable, used bikes. You can also donate your old bike to Peddle My Wheels, who are running the market.
NEW: Electrical Repair Training Workshops with West Central London Fixers
For the first time, we’re also offering two free hands-on workshops where you can learn how to repair small electrical items yourself. Each session runs for approximately 2 hours and is an opportunity to watch, learn and participate in electronic repairs of anything from a laptop to a sewing machine.
Session 1: 10:30am – 12:30pm
Session 2: 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Spaces are limited, so please only book if you’re committed to attending for the specified time. If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone on the waiting list.
Last entry to the main event is at 2.00pm.
