Esther Stanford-Xosei is a Jurisconsult, dynamic Pan-Afrikanist community advocate, specialising in the critical legal praxis of 'law as resistance' and emerging ‘Ourstorian’ of the International Social Movement for Afrikan Reparations.
As a ‘new abolitionist’, Esther serves as the Co-Vice Chair of the Pan-Afrikan Reparations Coalition in Europe (PARCOE)
She is also the co-initiator of the ‘Stop the Maangamizi: We Charge Genocide/Ecocide!’ Campaign (SMWeCGEC) which has been working with the Green Party to get cross-party motions on atonement and reparations passed in several councils in England in support of the SMWeCGEC demand for the establishment of the UK All-Party Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry for Truth & Reparatory Justice.
As a historically conscious community-based educator dedicated to emancipatory education for liberation and self-reliance, Esther chairs the Maangamizi Educational Trust which educates the public about the Maangamizi (‘Afrikan Hellacaust’), its causes, contemporary impacts and redress.
