Event description
Learn how to explore our connection with our own personal divinity.

About this event

Having lived through 2020, we all know much more than we would like about the disruption of connection.

Through exploring how connection and disconnection works in your own experience, as well as benefitting from the wisdom of your peers, you will come out of this work feeling better resourced to hold space for others who are struggling with disconnection, as well as learning some simple, but effective embodiment tools for quick re-connection to resourcing and ways to clear distress and disconnection from the nervous system. So that 2021 can offer us a renewed opportunity to look at how we can support CONNECTION, INTERCONNECTION and RE-CONNECTION with what benefits us, even in the most challenging of circumstances Come to all three or each session as a stand alone.

In this session, we’ll be thinking about what your spiritual needs are, whether you are getting them met and what you can do to change things if we’re not.

"Even before Coronavirus many of us found ourselves working ever-increasing hours, feeling greater pressures to be and do more, unable to switch off from technology, social media and the daily diet of bad news. In a rapidly changing cultural environment it becomes easy to feel like it’s all “out of control”.

And then we found ourselves utterly beyond the known in the midst of a global pandemic. This has escalated and amplified all our social and personal “fault lines”. Have you ever noticed how often wells appear in fairy tales? Or wondered what they really represent?

This session explores our connection with our own personal divinity, or what we might call our spirit or soul. No need to sign up to any particular belief system. Just the simple acknowledgement that we are all part of something larger than self, call it cosmos, community or Great Spirit.

When we’re consciously aware of this, it has the tendency to bestow purpose, compassion, awe, gratitude and a whole raft of other stuff beyond language. In session 3 we’ll be thinking about what your spiritual needs are, whether you are getting them met and what you can do to change things if we’re not.

Connection to Source, which we might describe as knowing how to lower your bucket into well and draw water, has, in turn, the tendency to enable us to tap into universal intelligence, understand life as an ongoing process of evolution and accept ourselves (and our clients, family and friends) as already whole, rather than dysfunctional or broken, according to many of our common narratives. How you arrange your dates with the Divine, unlike sessions 1 and 2, is nobody’s business but your own.
