We are excited to invite you to a HACT Research launch event on Tuesday 29 November where we will release the findings of our Community Investment and Bottom Line project for the first time.
Using a data science method, involving the use of propensity scores, the project was able to make the first attempt within the sector to quantify the extent to which community investment activity is actually associated with lower costs to the business.
The research presented in this report has the potential to arm Community Investment teams with an analytically robust approach and insight into being able to evidence and support the work that they do. It also has the exciting potential to inform future investment and activity in areas like employment, financial inclusion and digital inclusion.
We would be thrilled if you were able to join us at this launch so we can present this work to you. It will be followed by an informal roundtable discussion that you are welcome to participate in, or just observe.
