Represent! Voices 100 Years On guided tour
Date and time
Description
Join members of Girl Gang Manchester for a personal and lively tour of our exhibition Represent! Voices 100 Years On, exploring 100 years since the passing of the Representation of the People Act that gave all men and some women the right to vote in Britain.
Girl Gang Manchester are a feminist collective who sat on the steering group for the Represent! exhibition. Their film Women Rule Manchester #2 features in the exhibition and includes local women’s responses to the theme of representation. This unique tour will provide an alternative perspective on the objects and stories on display.
