These workshops may well help you to represent a vulnerable person in needof support

WORKSHOP ONE 11- 12.30

Representation at Benefits Tribunals

Providing support to people with needs who have problems with the Benefits system.

How to become a effective advocate in preparing an appeal and representing people at First-tier Review Tribunals.

WORKSHOP TWO 1.00- 2.30

Representation and Personal Budget Issues

Providing support with people with these who feel they are being in adequately supported by Adult Social Care.

How to effectively challenge personal budget calculations and to represent peoples wishes.

Denis Hart - our Workshop leader - is a former Head of Social Work at Teesside University, has vast experience and expertise in representing people, with considerable success. He has advised many to through his close involvement with NESCHA.
