The Women in Law Scotland committee are delighted to announce our next event taking place at the RFPG Faculty Hall in Glasgow on 7 October. This event will feature Sheriff Principal of Glasgow and Strathkelvin, Sheriff Principal Aisha Anwar.

In this powerful keynote, Sheriff Principal Aisha Anwar will share her personal journey from early inspiration to becoming a trailblazer in Scotland’s judiciary. Reflecting on the importance of representation, she will explore how resilience and reform have shaped her path and continue to influence her leadership. This session invites attendees to consider how their own stories can drive change, challenge norms, and inspire the next generation of women in law.

The keynote will be followed by a Q&A hosted by our committee member Simran Panesar-Saggu. Please submit any questions you may wish to have answered in advance to womeninlawscotland@gmail.com

Tickets are free but please be quick! We expect this to be another sell-out event.

We are grateful to our kind sponsors Turcan Connell who have provided sponsoprship for our venue and refreshments on the night.
