Reproducible research through reusable code
Overview
The workshop will take place at Science Park 402, 1098 XH Amsterdam. Please note that lunch and drinks at the end of the workshop are included.
This workshop teaches you the skills to make your code reusable by others. You will practice these skills by directly applying them to your own project. Inevitably, this will make your research more reproducible.
You should bring your own coding project to the workshop that you would like to make reusable and share with others.
The workshop is based on the teaching style of the Carpentries, and learners will follow along while the instructors write the code on screen. More information can be found on the <>workshop website<>.
Cancellation
If you register for the workshop we count on you being there. If you are not able to attend the workshop, please cancel your registration so we can give a spot to someone on the waiting list.
Audience
This workshop is aimed at researchers who want to make their code reusable. You are able to write basic code in a programming language like R or Python. This can be a few simple lines of code or a larger piece of software.
The workshop is aimed at PhD candidates and other researchers or research software engineers affiliated with Dutch research institutions. We do not accept registrations by Master students.
