NHS Grampian's Annual Research and Development Conference returns, this year's theme is "Working Collaboratively for Research Excellence"

About this Event

9:00am - 2:00pm, 29th October 2019

Suttie Centre, Foresterhill.

This year's theme is Collaborative Working for Research Excellence.

We have a range of speakers who promote working collaboratively, through their own research or by supporting research.

9 - 9:30am: Registration, with tea/coffee provided.

9:30 - 11:45am: Morning Session - Collaboration in Research

Talks will include topics on Grampian's Research Strategy, responding to and learning from online patient feedback, NoSCAR, 100,000 Genomes Project and Ethics in Research.

There will be a short comfort break at 10:35 -10:45am (no refreshments provided).

11:45am-12:30pm: Lunch

(Food is provided for lunch- please advise of any dietary requirements when registering).

Posters from successful research endowment projects, and exhibitors from research support groups, will be available to view throughout the event.

12:30 -1:45pm: Afternoon Session - NHS Grampian Endowments

These talks will give an overview of NHS Grampian Endowments and highlight some of the projects supported by these funds.

1:45 - 2:00pm: Closing remarks and prize giving.

Attendance is free, but please register so we can confirm refreshments ahead of time.
