About this Event

We invite you to an enjoyable evening in the striking Churchill building overlooking the River Dee.

Guests will enjoy drinks on arrival in the Atrium, followed by a debate with a panel of eminent speakers, finishing with a buffet dinner in the Brasserie.

The debate is an opportunity to explore the nuances of the teaching, research, and knowledge excellence frameworks (TEF, REF, KEF). A distinguished panel of three experts will define and defend the various strands of each framework with a particular emphasis on;

  • Understanding how TEF, RE and KEF can inform the development of an Integrated Excellence Framework for Education and Praxis in Healthcare.
  • What should an Integrated Excellence Framework look like?
  • Exploring a co-constructionist approach to the development of an Integrated Excellence Framework?
  • Is an IEF about further enriching the students' experience through innovation in curriculum design and by incorporating business, entrepreneurship and social enterprising skills and competency?
  • The audience will be invited to join in by asking thought provoking questions and promoting a healthy and meaningful debate which enables the realisation of the ambition for an ‘Integrated Excellence Framework’.

We look forward to welcoming all delegates attending our 2 day Research Conference and other guests.
