Event Details

Did you know that Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is research active?

Health research is a core NHS activity and the Health and Social Care Act (2012) puts research at the heart of the NHS for everyone. Patients benefit from access to clinical trials including cutting edge treatments and the NHS benefits from new medicines, technologies and processes. The research and development department at the Trust would like to invite you to an event to raise awareness of research:

  • Frimley Park, PGEC:          Monday 18 December 2017, 11am to 4pm
  • Wexham Park, PGMC:      Tuesday 19 December 2017, 11am to 4pm

The event will be open to staff, patients and the public. The event will have a number of guest speakers and hold a selection of different stands – covering aspects such as what is research, patient ambassadors and support from external stakeholders. There will also be lunch provided and a range of freebies plus a wealth of information regarding clinical research.
