Research projects conducted by University staff or students that involve human participants require approval from a University Research Ethics Committee or School Research Ethics Panel before you start your research. If you are planning to involve human participants in your research, then it is essential that you attend this session.
This training session provides an overview of research ethics principles and procedures, and specific help for staff and postgraduate students completing their ethics applications. The session is repeated twice over the course of the academic year –
