Who should attend this workshop?
This workshop is for people who have a basic understanding of social media (e.g. have their own personal social media profiles) and would like to gain in-depth knowledge of how to apply social media effectively in their area of work.
What will the workshop cover?
The workshop will cover what social media is and why it is so important. It will provide real examples of successes in the NHS, tips and tricks for using social media more effectively and explore key things to consider before using social media.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the day delegates will:
- have examined the many ways in which social media can be used to enhance the experiences of staff and patients
- understand how social media has been employed successfully across the NHS
- have a tool kit of tips and tricks to make more of the many social media tools available
- be able to take practical steps towards delivering this potential in their workplace
